As a loosening up program for team building or for in between, we offer a wine & cheese tasting in our own vaulted wine cellar in the evening, forest bathing, surprise menus and many other experiences.

Forest bathing

Forest bathing is a mindful stay in the forest, where the focus is on absorbing the forest atmosphere and close contact with nature. Forest bathing is intended to help you slow down, find new joie de vivre and replenish your energy reserves.

Forest bathing is therefore the ideal group activity to clear your head and recharge your batteries for the seminar. The forest bathing is led by the head of the house Jeremias Hehle who has a forest bathing diploma from the Waldakademie Bregenz.

In the 2-hour session, various exercises and techniques are used to get in harmony with the forest and yourself. In addition, there are informative explanations about the forest and the local ecosystem.

Wine & cheese tasting

The wine and cheese tasting is the perfect end to a seminar. After intensive work, the wine and cheese tasting can be enjoyed in the beautiful, rustic wine cellar. The tasting is led by either the head of the house and wine academic Karlheinz Hehle or the head of the house and wine academic Jeremias Hehle. Regional and Austrian wines are paired with cheese specialties from Vorarlberg. A perfect symbiosis.

Mehdafu Gourmet Menu

The "Mehdafu" gourmet menu is a special and very regional surprise menu of 5, 6 or 7 courses.
This can be enjoyed at the end of the day in the Restaurant Mehdafu can be enjoyed. An expert wine accompanimentcan also be recommended here.

Is the Hotel Schönblick suitable for hiking vacations?

Yes, the Hotel Schönblick is ideal for a gentle hiking vacation. It is located on the Pfänder massif at 800 meters above sea level - hikes start directly from the hotel entrance. The Josef Rupp cheese hiking trail is particularly recommended. Other popular routes lead to the Pfänder, towards Möggers or up the Hirschberg. A combination with the Pfänderbahn from Bregenz is also possible.

Which hikes start directly at the hotel?

Several hikes start directly from the hotel. Particularly noteworthy is the Josef Rupp cheese trail with informative boards about cheese production, play opportunities and interactive stations for children. Hikes towards Pfänder, Möggers and Hirschberg are also very popular.

Are there cycle paths nearby?

There is an extensive network of cycle paths around Lake Constance. The Hotel Schönblick offers an ideal starting point for excursions by bike or e-bike. Approx. 5 km and 400 meters in altitude lie between the hotel and Lake Constance. Cycling excursions into the hinterland are also highly recommended from Eichenberg.

What excursion destinations are there around Eichenberg and Lake Constance?

Eichenberg is centrally located in the border triangle between Austria, Germany and Switzerland. City trips to Bregenz and Lindau (each approx. 15-20 minutes' drive) and to Meersburg are particularly popular. Other highlights are the Lake Constance excursion boats, the Pfänderbahn and the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu. Directly in Eichenberg, the Josef Rupp cheese hiking trail is a highlight for young and old alike.

What activities are there in winter?

In winter, the surrounding area offers a wide range of possibilities: The hiking trails in Eichenberg are also maintained and groomed in winter. There are relaxation options in the surrounding area, such as the Lindau thermal spa or the seaside resort in Bregenz. Bregenz, Lindau and Dornbirn are great cultural alternatives. The hotel itself offers regional cuisine, a special wine cellar and a wellness area with panoramic indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin.
